Do not be tempted to follow what the strangers around you are following.  Many of them are following after the empty opinions of men. Others are following the religions of demons.  Some are following carefully veiled superstitions.  Some like the wasteland of philosophy. All will lead to starvation.  Follow Me to Living Water and real food. Instead, he has an unhealthy interest in controversies and semantics, out of which come envy, strife, abusive talk, evil suspicions, 5 and constant friction between men of depraved mind who are devoid of the truth. These men regard godliness as a means of gain. John 4:14 but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.” Proverbs 3:5-8 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord, and turn away from evil. It will be healing to your flesh and refreshment to your bones.
