Like pillars of a great house

A peaceful, restful spirit is like the pillars of a great house. No matter how the wind blows the pillars remain fixed. This brings comfort to those within the house. Remain in your inner self with Me at all times. Remain in My peace and rest as you silently watch Me work. I will make you a pillar. Those around you will lean on you and know that your God reigns. Psalm 61: 1-4 God, listen to my cry; pay attention to my prayer! When my heart is weak, I cry out to you from the very ends of the earth. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I am because you have been my refuge, a tower of strength in the face of the enemy. Please let me live in your tent forever! Please let me take refuge in the shelter of your wings! Psalm 62:1-2 Only in God do I find rest; my salvation comes from him. Only God is my rock and my salvation— my stronghold!—I won’t be shaken anymore. Psalm 89:8-9 Who is like you, Lord God of heavenly forces? Mighty Lord, your faithfulness surrounds you! You rule over the surging sea: When its waves rise up, it’s you who makes them still.

They are like fly paper

Emotions, once given permission to spring forth, cannot be controlled. They do not reveal Truth. They are like fly paper. They will stick to whatever is in the room. Remain at peace and rest at all times. Proverbs 13:3 People who watch their mouths guard their lives, but those who open their lips are ruined. Proverbs 11:29 Those who trouble their family will inherit the wind. The fool will be servant to the wise. Proverbs 12:13-16 The wicked are trapped by the transgressions of their lips, but the righteous escape from distress. From the fruit of their speech, people are well satisfied; their work results in reward. Fools see their own way as right, but the wise listen to advice. Fools reveal their anger right away, but the shrewd hide their contempt. Proverbs 12:18 Some chatter on like a stabbing sword, but a wise tongue heals.

Like uncontrolled glue

Emotions are like uncontrolled glue. They bind things that do not belong together. Do not let them out of the container or you will find that you have a terrible mess. Proverbs 21:23 Those who guard their mouths and their tongues guard themselves from trouble. Proverbs 16:32 Better to be patient than a warrior and better to have self-control than to capture a city. Proverbs 17:1 Better a dry crust with quiet than a house full of feasting with quarrels. Proverbs 15:13  A joyful heart brightens one’s face, but a troubled heart breaks the spirit.

Trust Me . . .  I Am near

Know that I Am near. Do not trust your emotions. Take dominion over them. Watch Me while I work like a child sits quietly in a chair watching his Father. You will see My Hand. Matthew 18:18 I assure you that whatever you fasten on earth will be fastened in heaven. And whatever you loosen on earth will be loosened in heaven.

Using My Authority

Talk to Me and then wait in silence. Bind the demons of fear, confusion and pride around and within the trapped one. Cast them out in Jesus’ Name. Loose My Spirit of peace, Love, sound mind and humility. Do this silently within your spirit. You do not always have to speak the words out loud. Then wait on Me. Matt 16:19 I’ll give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Anything you fasten on earth will be fastened in heaven. Anything you loosen on earth will be loosened in heaven.

Breaking strongholds

The only way to break the stronghold is through My Spirit of humility, patience, faith, and perseverance. Remain in your inner self – Our garden of intimacy within you. 2 Corinthians 10:3 For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. 4  The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. James 5:16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

Recognizing fear and confusion

Where fear and confusion reign there is also anger and pride. Be humble. Do not try to force someone to see their fear and confusion. They have already justified the spirits they accepted. Pride has become their shield. Proverbs 21:2 Everyone’s path is straight in their own eyes, but the Lord weighs the heart.

No matter how hard you try . . .

You cannot reason with someone who has accepted fear and confusion. Therefore wait on Me. Wait in peaceful silence. Trust in Me with all your heart. Do not lean on your own understanding. It will also be faulty. Remain in your inner being and sit still in My Presence. I will direct your paths and thoughts. Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart; don’t rely on your own intelligence. Know him in all your paths, and He will keep your ways straight. Proverbs 16:22 Good sense is a spring of fresh water to those who have it, but fools can offer only foolishness.

A faulty path . . . your own understanding

You wonder at the reasonings of the difficult one near you. Fear and confusion will drive sound reasoning far away. Do not give in to fear yourself. Be silent. Trust Me and wait. Proverbs 28:26 Those who trust in their own reasoning are fools, but those who walk in wisdom will be kept safe. Proverbs 27:22 Even if you grind fools in a mortar, even grinding them along with the grain, their folly won’t be driven from them.
