Short devotions given to Pearl

You give peace daily

I will hear your prayer for peace for them. Give a blessing and you will receive a blessing. Give mercy and you will receive mercy. Give forgiveness and you will receive forgiveness. Give hope and you will receive hope. James 2:13 For judgment is without mercy to one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

Pray for the peace of the strangers around you

I know your uncomfortable living and working among strangers . . . those who are not My sheep and do not know Me. Pray for peace for them even if they do not outwardly appear to need it. Matthew 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.

The power of My Peace

Do not want what I have given to another. Why should you let the evil one rob you of peace through envy? Be content with what I have given you. Then your eyes will be opened to all the treasure I have given to you that envy blinded you to. I Love you. 1 Timothy 6:6 But godliness actually is a means of great gain when accompanied by contentment.

Got peace?

Check yourself for peace like you check your body for ticks after walking in the woods. Check your mind, body, and spirit for peace, like you would look for your keys when you go out. Check for peace always. Peace comes from Me alone. I Am the Prince of Peace. I Am the Lord over all. I have all authority over demons, darkness, and powers. I Am Jesus Christ. I Love you! My Love for you is strong enough. James 1:21 Therefore, put away all filthiness and rampant wickedness and receive with meekness the implanted Word, which is able to save your souls.

Forgiving and forgetting

The one who speaks Words of Love to their tormentor, who serves him, who forgives and forgets, who overlooks continual blindness-this is the one whose sacrifice fulfills this verse. The sacrifice will lead to the manifestation of My salvation and deliverance for the blind one. “. . . who proclaims salvation, who says to Zion, ‘Your God reigns!’ Trust in Me and do good. Do not grow weary. Endure. Salvation will come. Isaiah 52:7  How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who proclaims peace, who brings glad tidings of good things . . . “

The Point or Purpose of Your Existence

True Love is a fulfilled sacrifice. Do not judge or consider whether others have true Love toward you. That is not the point or purpose of your existence. James 2:14 What good is it, my brothers, if someone claims to have faith, but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? 15 Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you tells him, “Go in peace; stay warm and well fed,” but does not provide for his physical needs, what good is that? 17 So too, faith by itself, if it is not complemented by action, is dead. 18 But someone will say, “You have faith and I have deeds.” Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds. James 2:20 O foolish man, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is worthless? 21 Was not our father Abraham justified by what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? 22 You see that his faith was working with his actions, and his faith was perfected by what he did. 23 And the Scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,”and he was called a friend of God. 24 As you can see, a man is justified by his deeds and not by faith alone.
