Sacred Silence

Learn the power of silence. When your mind roams into enemy territory bring your inner self back before My throne and enter into silence before Me. Peaceful silence before My throne restores your soul. Silence in My Presence calms your spirit. Silence in My Arms allows Me to fill you with My Spirit of Love. Silence as you wait allows you to hear My Voice of Wisdom. Silence is a door to My Kingdom. Matthew 27:12 But when he was accused by the chief priests and elders, he gave no answer. Psalm 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God (the  word, ‘know,’ means to experience). John 14:17  17 even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will beg in you.  20 In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you. Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. James 3:5 5 So also the tongue is a small member, yet it boasts of great things. How great a forest is set ablaze by such a small fire! 6And the tongue is a fire, a world of unrighteousness. The tongue is set among our members, staining the whole body, setting on fire the entire course of life, and set on fire by hell Deuteronomy 27:9 Then Moses and the Levitical priests said to all Israel, “Keep silence and hear, O Israel: this day you have become the people of the Lord your God. 2 Kings 18:36 But the people were silent and answered him not a word, for the king’s command was, “Do not answer him.” Psalm 4:4 Be angry, and do not sin; ponder in your own hearts on your beds, and be silent. Mark 4:39 And he awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Peace! Be still!” And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm Colossians 3:15a. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts Matthew 16:19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Matthew18:18 Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Like Mother’s Milk

I will satisfy the hunger of your soul. The world says, “A glass of wine, good food, conversation with friends . . . these are among the most satisfying things.” I made your soul. I know your deepest needs which even you are not aware. I long to satisfy your soul with Me, My Presence and Voice.  Do not be tempted to seek satisfaction through exterior life. It will be like sucking on ice . . . it quickly melts, it is not enough to quench your thirst and the temperature is too harsh for your mouth. I made mothers’ milk to be perfectly satisfying to babies . . . the right taste, temperature and soft, soul-satisfying delivery. I know how to satisfy your soul. Trust Me. Come to Me in silence and peaceful waiting. I will be there. No emotion, worries, requirements, pressures, guilt, hurries . . . just be. Just be before Me in silent, relaxed, waiting trust. I always show up. I love to satisfy the ones who truly want Me alone. Psalm 103:5 . . . who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. Psalm 63:5   I will be fully satisfied as with the richest of foods; with singing lips my mouth will praise you.

Life is an Adventure With Me

Some days you and I will have intense conversations. Others We will quietly rest together. Some days We will be playful. Others We will work side-by-side. Sometimes you will be perplexed as you learn to trust Me. Other times you will fly in delight within your soul. Welcome to Our real, Living, breathing relationship. I Am faithful to you. Matthew 7:7-8 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. Matthew 7:13-14 13 “Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. 14 For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few. Matthew 10:39 Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. Matthew 13:11-12 And he answered them, “To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given. 12 For to the one who has, more will be given, and he will have an abundance, but from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away. 1Corinthians 2:12-14 12 Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God. 13 And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual. 14 The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned. 1Corinthians 3:1-2  But I, brothers, could not address you as spiritual people, but as people of the flesh, as infants in Christ. 2  fed you with milk, not solid food, for you were not ready for it. And even now you are not yet ready, 1Corinthians 6:17 17 But he who is joined to the Lord becomes one spirit with him. 1Corinthians 10:23  “All things are lawful,” but not all things are helpful. “All things are lawful,” but not all things build up. 1Corinthians 13:11 When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways.

Be a Friend of God

Your relationship with others changes every day. You can have a good friend that has been faithful to you for years yet the qualities of your interactions are different each day. I Am a living God. Your relationship with Me will be living and changing as well. John 14:21, 23  The person who has my commandments and obeys them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and will reveal myself to him.” 23 Jesus replied, “If anyone loves me, he will obey my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and take up residence with him. Isaiah 41:8 You, my servant Israel,Jacob whom I have chosen, offspring of Abraham my friend. Genesis 18:17 Then the Lord said, “Should I hide from Abraham what I am about to do? 18 After all, Abraham will surely become a great and powerful nation, and all the nations on the earth may receive blessing through him. 19 I have chosen him so that he may command his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord by doing what is right and just. Then the Lord will give to Abraham what he promised him. Genesis 5:22 Enoch walked [in habitual fellowship] with God three hundred years after the birth of Methuselah and had other sons and daughters. 23 So all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years. 24 And [in reverent fear and obedience] Enoch walked with God; and he was not [found among men], because God took him [away to be home with Him]. Genesis 33:11 And so the Lord used to speak to Moses face to face, just as a man speaks to his friend. Acts 13:22 He raised up David to be their king: of him He testified and said, ‘I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart [conforming to My will and purposes], who will do all My will.

Fanning the Flames

When exterior desires overcome your spirit you are weak. Come to Me. I will be your strength. Even when your desire for Me, My Presence and Voice is weak just ask and I will fan the ember of your will back into a flame for Me. I will draw you back into My Kingdom. I will help you with your will or desire. I will make you thirsty with the salt of My Love. I know you need help with wanting Me. Do not feel ashamed. Just ask Me to fan the flame of your desire for Me. I love you! Revelation 3:20-22 Therefore, shake off your complacency and repent. See, I stand knocking at the door. If anyone listens to my voice and opens the door, I will go into his house, and dine with him, and he with me. As for the victorious, I will give him the honor of sitting beside me on my throne, just as I myself have won the victory and have taken my seat beside my Father on his throne. Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.  Matthew 19:29 And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or lands, for my name’s sake, will receive a hundredfold and will inherit eternal life. Luke 12:34 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Psalm 37:4  Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your hear

Desiring Intimacy

When your will or desire for Me seems weakened I will help. Just ask. You have tools to help you overcome the desires of your flesh in the exterior life. I Am your help to overcome the self-nature in your interior. 2 Corinthians 4:16 Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. Ephesians 3:16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man. . . Psalm 51:6 Behold, You desire truth in the innermost being, And in the hidden part You will make me know wisdom. Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him.

Jealousy: Unyielding as the Grave

Jealousy is like a defective gun. It fires at the object while exploding in the hands of the owner. Detach from all but Me. Then you will be safe from deadly jealousy. Attach to Me alone. Then you will bless others and not bring a curse on them. Love My Love for you. Only it will fulfill you. Proverbs 10:12 Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all offenses. Proverbs 14:30 A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones. Proverbs 27:4 Anger is cruel and fury overwhelming, but who can stand before jealousy? 1 Corinthians 13:4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. Psalm 143:8-9 Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life. 9 Rescue me from my enemies, LORD, for I hide myself in you. Song of Solomon 8:6-7 6 Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm; for love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. It burns like blazing fire, like a mighty flame. 7 Many waters cannot quench love; rivers cannot sweep it away. If one were to give all the wealth of one’s house for love, it would be utterly scorned.

A Consuming Fire

Jealousy is an all consuming fire. The irony of jealousy is that it destroys both the one who is jealous and the object of that one’s desire. Proverbs 14:30 A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones. Proverbs 27:4 Anger is cruel and fury overwhelming, but who can stand before jealousy? James 3:14 But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth. 15  Such “wisdom” does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic.16 For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice. 1 Corinthians 3:3 You are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and quarreling among you, are you not worldly? Are you not acting like mere humans? 1 Corinthians 13:4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Intimacy for Eternity

Do you not see that deep, intimate, perpetual fellowship with you is My one desire? I will use all the tools I have to bring you and Me together . . . good times and hard times, good health and bad, fairness and injustice, beauty and ugliness, heat and cold, friendship and loneliness, ease and work. There is no limit to what I will do for you and Me to enjoy intimacy for all eternity. You are worth it. I Am worth it. Together, We are worth it. 1 John 3:1  See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children of God; and such we are For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Psalm 103:13 Just as a father has compassion on his children, So the LORD has compassion on those who fear Him. Matthew 11:27 All things have been handed over to Me by My Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father; nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son wills to reveal Him. John 17:21 that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me
