When two old friends have been apart for a long time and have an unexpected reunion they will eventually recognize each other. Their hearts will remember the love they shared even if their appearance is not familiar. You recognize Me because you recognize My Love. Jeremiah 31:3 The Lord appeared from of old to me [Israel], saying, Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with loving-kindness have I drawn you and continued My faithfulness to you. Ephesians 1:4 For He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless in His presence.  2 Timothy 1:9 He has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not because of our own works, but by His own purpose and by the grace He granted us in Christ Jesus before time eternal. 1 Peter 1:20 He was known before the foundation of the world, but was revealed in the last times for your sake. Romans 2:14 For when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do what the law requires, they are a law to themselves, even though they do not have the law. They show that the work of the law is written on their hearts, while their conscience also bears witness, and their conflicting thoughts accuse or even excuse them  Ecclesiastes 3:11  He has made everything beautiful in its time. He also has planted eternity in men’s hearts and minds [a divinely implanted sense of a purpose working through the ages which nothing under the sun but God alone can satisfy], yet so that men cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.
