Letters to Pearl

Love is dependent on Me . . . be holy

Human strength is for those who function independently in the exterior world. It is difficult for the strong and resourceful to know and be led by Me. James 4:13-16 Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit”; whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that.” But now you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil. Isaiah 57:15 For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, Whose Name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, with him who has a contrite and humble spirit.” John 15:4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. John 15:5 Without Me, you can do nothing. 2 Corinthians 12:9 He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:10 For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Overcoming With Praise

Praise Me. It will be the most difficult thing you can do at this point. Use your will and begin with an inward thought of praise. Then add a few more. As you become a little stronger, praise more. Acts 16:25-26 About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them, and suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken. And immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone’s bonds were unfastened.Psalm 150:2 Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness! Psalm 95:2-3 Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods. 2 Chronicles 20:22 As they began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated, Psalm 103:2-4 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy. Ephesians 1:3 blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ
