The humble sweetness of desire

Those who seek Me but find and taste unripe berries in the church then are misled and think all berries are sour. They do not want to be sour like them. Unripe berries are also infertile. They were harvested before they were ready and cannot bear more fruit from Me. Do not harvest a berry before it is fully ripe, eager to leave the old branch, happy to be falling into the unknown of My Hand, filled only with humble sweetness of surrender and desire for Me. Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who approaches Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him. Jeremiah 29:13 13 You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. 14  I will be found by you, declares the LORD. . .

Harvesting Berries

Berries which are ripe easily let go of the old branches they cling to. The slightest breeze from My Spirit will set them free. The unripe berries are harder to pull off their branches. Do not force an unripe berry to release that to which it is attached. If you do, it’s taste will be sour and it will not fully ripen. I Am the Lord of the harvest. I will ripen the berries in My perfect timing. Be patient. Follow My Voice. Trust Me. Mark 2:22 No one puts new wine into old wine skins; otherwise the wine will burst the skins, and the wine is lost and the skins as well; but one puts new wine into fresh wine skins.” Mark 8:35 For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it. John 12:25 He who loves his life loses it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it to life eternal.

Everything I put on your plate is Good

I give you fullness of life . . . a full plate that contains food of all types . . . some sweet, some salty . . . some sour, some bitter. All My food is good if received with thanksgiving. Even the bitter and sour foods have their purpose for you. How can you have compassion on those who have eaten a lot of unsavory food, if you have only eaten sweet? How will you know peace and submission and contentment in all circumstances, if you have only eaten pleasant food? How will you learn long-suffering and trust, if you have only had dessert? Unsavory food can be purifying, if eaten with thanksgiving and trust and acceptance. I bring all good gifts to the table. My ways are not your ways. Taste all I bring and you will see in the end that I Am Good. I Love you! We eat together. Deuteronomy 32:4 The Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are justice. Phil 4-11   . . . 6 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. . .
