To know Me is to know My power. I Am power because I Am Love. You cannot know Love from a distance any more than you can know a gourmet meal from a distance. You must come close, very close. Use your desire to come close to Me. I promise that when you draw near to Me I will draw near to you. Know that I Am highly motivated to be close to you. I want closeness with you. James 4:8 Come near to God and He will come near to you.
Roses are a symbol of love. When a man gives a woman roses she knows the message. But if that same man then leaves his house, business, friends, and financial investments to travel to where the woman is held a prisoner and gives his life to set her free then His symbol has power. It is no longer just a symbol. It is a Truth. A student can gain a high grade but the mark is only a powerless symbol until the student applies the knowledge to a job and succeeds. Then the symbol of the grade has power. It is truth. My existence, Love for you, and desire for you is not only in Words on a page but in real Truth and Power. I Am here for you. I proved it when I was on the cross. I prove it now as I rescue you, court you, heal you, and speak to you. Come close and know the power of My Love behind the symbols. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that He gave his only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. John 15:13 Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. Romans 5:8 but God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Many ask Me to lead them but they do not follow. Many ask Me to teach them but they do not want the lesson. Many ask to hear My Voice but they do not listen. Many ask Me to show them My will but they do not obey. Faith without works is dead. Test yourself. Are you truly Mine? Many are deceived. Leave your attachments and your desires behind and follow Me with all your heart. Matthew 16:24-25 Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.” John 8:12 12 Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Be careful that you do not fall into the trap of curiosity about the future. Keep your focus on Me. Accept each day that I bring. Trust Me for your daily manna. Do not consider things that are none of your business. Do not try to peek into the future. Do not try to peek into your neighbor’s mind. These things are none of your business. Be simple and humble before Me. Focus on Me and My Love for you. Listen for My Voice. Follow Me. Matthew 6:31-33 do not worry, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear?’ . . . and indeed your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first for the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well Colossians 2:8 Be sure you are not led away by the teaching of those who have nothing worth saying and only plan to deceive you. That teaching is not from Christ. It is only human tradition and comes from the powers that influence this world.

Do not concern yourself with trying to discern the future. Those who do, are not spending precious time with Me. They have become distracted and encourage others to be distracted from Me. Leviticus 19:31 Do not turn to psychics or fortune tellers; do not seek them out, to be defiled by them: I am the Lord your God. Colossians 2:8 See to it that no one carries you off as spoil or makes you yourselves captive by his so-called philosophy and intellectualism and vain deceit (idle fancies and plain nonsense), following human tradition (men’s ideas of the material rather than the spiritual world), just crude notions following the rudimentary and elemental teachings of the universe and disregarding [the teachings of] Christ (the Messiah).

A peaceful, restful spirit is like the pillars of a great house. No matter how the wind blows the pillars remain fixed. This brings comfort to those within the house. Remain in your inner self with Me at all times. Remain in My peace and rest as you silently watch Me work. I will make you a pillar. Those around you will lean on you and know that your God reigns.
