The Journey

My people will know the road to take to reach My kingdom, their home, and resting place. I provide all they need for the journey. They will all arrive safely. Trust Me as your Good King. No other ruler has ever or will ever defeat Me or My people. I Am Lord over all. Romans 8:32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Matthew 28:20 And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age 1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also suffered for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, that He might bring you to God, after being put to death in the fleshly realm but made alive in the spiritual realm. 2 Timothy 4:18 The Lord will certainly deliver and draw me to Himself from every assault of evil. He will preserve and bring me safe unto His heavenly kingdom. To Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen (so be it).

Divine Provision

I Am the one and only truly Good King. I provide all the Real food My people need. I never let them go hungry. My people will not want for Love, peace, wisdom, comfort, and Truth. My people will receive protection from darkness and the destructiveness of sin. John 4:34 Jesus said to them, My food (nourishment) is to do the will (pleasure) of Him Who sent Me and to accomplish and completely finish His work. Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. 2 Samuel 22:3-4 my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation. He is my stronghold, my refuge and my savior— from violent people you save me. 4 I called to the LORD, who is worthy of praise, and have been saved from my enemies. 2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. Psalm 34:10 The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing. Proverbs 10:3 The LORD does not let the righteous go hungry, but He denies the craving of the wicked. Psalm 37:25 I have been young and now I am old, yet I have not seen the righteous abandoned or his children begging for bread. Isaiah 47:17 The poor and needy seek water, but there is none; their tongues are parched with thirst. I, the LORD, will answer them; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them. Hebrews 13:5 Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, for God has said: “Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you.” Romans 8:32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Matthew 6:31-34 31 Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’ 32 “For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”  34 “So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

Wait for Me!

To wait on Me is a choice. It is not neutrality. I always honor those who want to follow Me. Waiting is not inaction. Waiting on Me is faith-filled action of your will. I honor this high form of faith. Isaiah 40:30 But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] Will gain new strength and renew their power; They will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun]; They will run and not become weary. They will walk and not grow tired. Psalm 40:1 I waited patiently for the LORD, and he turned to me and heard my cry for help. Psalm 37:7 Be patient and trust the LORD. Don’t let it bother you when all goes well for those who do sinful things. Psalm 27:13  I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living. 14 Wait for the LORD; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the LORD.

No Neutrality

There is nothing in between Light and dark. There is only one or the other. Not choosing is to choose darkness. Therefore, darkness wants you to desire nonexistent grayness or neutrality. Choose Light. Choose Me, even if the Truth costs you your life. You will have escaped a worse fate. Revelation 3:15-16 I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth. Matthew 5:20 Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.  John 1:5 The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. Ephesians 5:8 for you were formerly darkness, but now you are Light in the Lord; walk as children of Light Mark 4:22 For nothing is hidden, except to be revealed; nor has anything been secret, but that it would come to light. Matthew 6:24 No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money. James 4:4 You adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore, whoever chooses to be a friend of the world renders himself an enemy of God.

Straddling the Fence

There is no such thing as neutrality. A country may declare itself to be neutral during wars between its neighbors, but it is not neutral. Inaction is action. Allowing sin to exist is not neutrality. Refusing to get involved is getting involved. Your answer cannot be both “yes” and “no.” Neutrality is a lie of Satan. Revelation 3:15-16 I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth. Psalm 128:1-2 Blessed are all who fear the LORD, who walk in obedience to him. 2 You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours. Matthew 5:20 Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.  Matthew 7:15-18 Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit.  Psalm 139:21-22 Do I not hate those who hate you, O Lord? And do I not loathe those who rise up against you? I hate them with complete hatred; I count them my enemies. Romans 16:17-18 I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them. For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive.  Acts 5:29 But Peter and the apostles answered, “We must obey God rather than men.  Matthew 18:6 But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.  2 Chronicles 19:1-2 Jehoshaphat the king of Judah returned in safety to his house in Jerusalem. But Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him and said to King Jehoshaphat, “Should you help the wicked and love those who hate the Lord? Because of this, wrath has gone out against you from the Lord. Psalm 119:160 The sum of your word is truth, and every one of your righteous rules endures forever.  James 5:20 Whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save him from death and cover over a multitude of sins 6-21

The Chase

External beauty, talent, and skills are just that . . . external. When you chase after externals, then you get just that . . . externals. Jeremiah 17:10 I, the LORD, search the heart, I test the mind, even to give to each man according to his ways, according to the results of his deeds. Psalm 44:21 Would not God find this out? For He knows the secrets of the heart. 1 Samuel 16:5 Then he consecrated Jesse and his sons and invited them to the sacrifice. 6 When they arrived, Samuel saw Eliab and said, “Surely here before the LORD is His anointed.” 12 So Jesse sent for his youngest son and brought him in. He was ruddy, with beautiful eyes and a handsome appearance. And the LORD said, “Rise and anoint him, for he is the one.”13 So Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the presence of his brothers, and the Spirit of the LORD rushed upon David from that day forward. Then Samuel set out and went to Ramah.  But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or height, for I have rejected him; the LORD does not see as man does. For man sees the outward appearance, but the LORD sees the heart.”

Chasing the Wind

Give up your dreams. Exchange them for Mine. Your dreams of security, comforts, relationships, stability are literally the substance of dreams you have while you sleep. To chase after them is like chasing after the wind. They seem real and attainable but, when you think you are getting close, they disappear like a mirage. Let them go. Come to Me instead. I Am Real. I do not change or disappear. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope Isaiah 55:8-9 For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so My ways are higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts. Psalm 40:5 Many, O LORD my God, are the wonders You have done, and the plans You have for us–none can compare to You–if I would proclaim and declare of them, they are more than could be numbered.

A Hope and a Future

I Am your source of security, Love, and fulfillment. Chase after Me and My plans for you. I promise you will catch Me. You and I will together experience Real Life that is more satisfying than any dream you can imagine. Stop your mind from re-playing your dreams and plans. Talk to Me instead. Listen to Me and I will show you Real visions and Life-goals. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Hebrews 13:20 Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, 21 equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. Ephesians 5:15 Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise,16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is. 18 Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, 19 speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, 20 always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Matthew 6: 31-33 Therefore do not be anxious, saying, “What shall we eat?” or “What shall we drink?” or “What shall we wear?” For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

Love and Sacrifice

Never give something to someone for the purpose of receiving appreciation or gratitude from them. Give to others when I tell you . . . out of obedience and blindfolded faith in Me. Give to others out of humble service. Do not expect anything in return from them. Do not desire anything from them at all . . . not Love, not honor, not thoughtfulness, not respect. Only look to Me as your Reward. Freely give to others as I lead. Then you will freely receive what you truly need from Me. Matthew 10:29 Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. Luke 9:23-24 And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. John 15:13 Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. Philippians 3:8 Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ.  1 John 3:16 By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.

Blindness vs Blindfolded

Do not confuse blindness with being blindfolded. Blindness is a defect. A sense that I gave you is not being used when you are blind. I placed a blindfold on you as a gift to you. The blindfold protects you from independence. It protects you from pride which causes you to fall. It is also like a weight that causes the muscle of faith to grow stronger. To be blinded to Truth is to accept a defect. To be blindfolded is to accept a gift. Turn from blindness and humbly accept the gift of the blindfold. Isaiah 35:5 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf unstopped; Psalm 119:18 Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of your law. John 1:5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. 1 Corinthians 1:21 For since, in the wisdom of God, the world did not know God through wisdom, it pleased God through the folly of what we preach to save those who believe. 1 John 2:9 Whoever says he is in the light and hates his brother is still in darkness. 2 Corinthians 4:4 In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. Matthew 15:14 Let them alone; they are blind guides. And if the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit.” 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled only to those who are perishing. In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 2 Corinthians 4:6 For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. John 9:39 Jesus said, “For judgment I came into this world, that those who do not see may see, and those who see may become blind.”
