Psalm 119:18 Open my eyes that I may behold wondrous things out of your law.

Do not confuse blindness with being blindfolded. Blindness is a defect. A sense that I gave you is not being used when you are blind. I placed a blindfold on you as a gift to you. The blindfold protects you from independence. It protects you from pride which causes you to fall. It is also like a weight that causes the muscle of faith to grow stronger. To be blinded to Truth is to accept a defect. To be blindfolded is to accept a gift. Turn from blindness and humbly accept the gift of the blindfold. Isaiah 35:5 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf unstopped; Psalm 119:18 Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of your law. John 9:39 Jesus said, “For judgment I came into this world, that those who do not see may see, and those who see may become blind.”
